The initiative was created in 2020, as seniors were more and more isolated.

The idea of the website is to allow students who would like to practice French to connect with francophone seniors.

By doing so, ShareAmi gives seniors a role in the society and encourage them to connect with the world. It also gives the opportunity to people learning french to practice with a native speaker and learn a lot about the culture as well.
